My friend Mridul published a novel couple of days ago. What an achievement!! It was a given that this guy was gonna make a mark.. But I for sure didnt expect it to be this soon.. I have not yet read the book. But it certainly is getting rave reviews... The book, titled 'പാതി മുറിഞ്ഞ ടിക്കയറ്റുകൾ' is a fan fiction of some of the legendary caracters in Malayalam cinema...
And me?? the bloody me has been sitting with one fan fiction for over four years!! I was really curious about what would have happened to one of the most famous, yet most ignored characters in Malayalam cinema/literature.. I started writing .. but never completed it... I know how the story should end.. but i am still not sure how to come up to that end..
Today, i re-read what i wrote.. felt that it was a bit detailed.. so cut out a few things.. but still its faar faar from being complete.. And i dont have the copy of the film with me to refer back to... so my procrastination continues...
But write I will for sure..
Just for the sake of pleasure..
but now i feel the pressure..
to give it a damn closure..
